Surrounded by loved ones, Ann passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011, in Everett, Wash., from pneumonia and complications. She was born and raised on a farm in Phoenix.

Ann met her first husband, Robert Austin Sr., and they married in Phoenix in 1943. They traveled the globe with the U.S. Air Force and had three children together. The couple divorced in 1980.

She married Duwain D. Dalquist in 1983 and they lived in Spokane until 2004, when they moved to Everett to live with her son and his family. Duwain died in 2010.

Ann was a professional seamstress, a craft she honed from the age of 18.

She loved visiting with friends and family, baking, playing pinochle and debating politics.

She will be deeply missed by sisters, Betty Wilkes and Mary Colbert; brother, John Wilmoth; her children, Sandra Warnken, Robert Austin Jr. and Janice Beaumont; and their families, including seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her beloved little Bayley, pictured with her.
