Funeral services for William Pritzl, 91, of Brillion who died Thursday, July 6, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, were held Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Raymond Dowling, pastor, was the celebrant. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

He was born Feb. 4, 1887, in the town of Brillion, a son of the late Anton and Mary Zipperer Pritzl.

On June 6, 1911, he married Caroline Spatchek at Reedsville. The couple farmed in the town of Brillion. She died in October 1959. He was supervisor for the town of Brillion, and was town chairman for 21 years. He was a member of St. Mary Church and the Catholic Knights Society.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Lenora) Benzschawel of Sheboygan, Mrs. Urban (Irene) Wildenberg of Combined Locks, Mrs. James (Elaine) Brennen of New Holstein, and Mrs. Emily Nate of Brillion; one son, Leo of R. 2, Brillion, 25 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, seven sisters and one brother.
