Miss Ella McVey
Memphis, Missouri - Miss Ella McVey, 93, Memphis, was found dead about 9 a.m. Thursday, November 23, at her home by her nephew, George Moore.
The daughter of William Washington and Elizabeth Agnes Daniel McVey, she was born in Scotland County, Missouri, August 14, 1879. She never married.
Miss McVey taught school and later worked as a clerk in Washington, DC, until her retirement. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, November 26, at the Payne Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery, west of Arbela.
