CHAPLIN, B. Marie - 71, Oldham, passed away in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, on Sunday, July 20, 2008. Born in Green Oaks, Colchester Co., she was the daughter of the late Everett and Margaret (Henderson) Phillips. She resided in Oldham most of her married life and was employed for many years with Maritime Tel & Tel as a long distance operator and was member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She also worked at the Stanfield Airport at Cara Food operations. Marie loved her animals, and enjoyed people and friends. She is survived by her husband, Clinton, at home; sons, Dennis (Heather), Enfield, and Dean (Heather), Eastern Passage, and grandson, Nathan. She was predeceased by son, Dale; brothers, Stanley and Lloyd. Visitation will take place Tuesday 6-9 p.m. in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Main St., Shubenacadie. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, in Riverview United Church, Elmsdale, with Wendy Kean officiating. Burial will take place in Green Oaks
