Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Belle Chaffin, 84, who died Friday in the Smith Chetwood Hospital in
Lafayette, Tennessee, were conducted Sunday at the Willow Street Church of Christ at 1:30 p.m. with Bro. Oliver Cunningham officiating. Burial was in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Whitson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Chaffin was a resident of Cookeville and a daughter of the late Elizabeth Draper and John Brooks.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Hilda Mae Bailey, Lafayette, TN; two brothers, Henry Cary and Oliver Brockett Brooks, Lafayette, TN; two sisters, Mrs. Lenellen Roxie Hoskins, Lafayette, Mrs. Nina Marshall, Tompkinsville, KY; 9 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren
and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren.
