Stuart M. Rohrbaugh

JACOBUS – Stuart M. Rohrbaugh, 82, of Jacobus, died at 4:04 p.m. Tuesday at his home. He was the husband of Marie L. (Smith) Rohrbaugh. The couple observed their 59th wedding anniversary November 2.
The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church in Glenville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Mr. Rohrbaugh was born July 12, 1918, in Manheim Township, near Brodbecks. He was the son of the late Calvin S. and Tersie (Hamm) Rohrbaugh.
He was a track supervisor for Conrail and the former Penn Central Railroads in the York and northern Maryland areas, retiring in 1979 after more than 38 years of service.
Mr. Rohrbaugh also is survived by two sons, Gary L. Rohrbaugh of Jacobus, and Dean M. Rohrbaugh of Reston, Va.; a daughter, Brenda L. Shaffer of York; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Warren E. Rohrbaugh of Hanover, and Burnell G. Rohrbaugh of Dover, and two sisters, Arlene V. Crowl of Richmond, Va., and Frances Rohrbaugh of Hanover. Mr. Rohrbaugh was preceded in death by a daughter, Joann Rohrbaugh.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. George O. Butz.
