Robert O. Tirey, age 83, passed away Monday March 5, 2001 at his home in Los Lunas, NM.

Robert was born and raised in Texas, moving to New Mexico in 1941, where he met and married Leova Thompson of Portales.

Robert and Leova raised two sons in Albuquerque, NM where Robert was a registered pharmacist for 55 years, owning and operating Nob Hill Drug and Estancia Drug.

Robert is survived by his wife, Leova of the family home, his sons, Wylie and his wife, Ramona of Los Chávez, NM and Wayne and his wife, Kathleen of Los Alamos, NM, his grandson, Michael, his granddaughter, Karen and her husband, Michael Browne and two great-granddaughters, Kathryn and Carolyn. Robert is also survived by two brothers, Ray Tirey and family of Sun City, California and George B. Tirey of Falmouth, Massachusetts and a sister-in-law, Gracie Tirey and family of Happy, Texas.

Graveside Services for Robert will be held at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM on Thursday March 8, 2001 at 2:30 p.m. with full military honors.
