Robert Lee "Bobby" Huffman

Bobby Lee Huffman, 72, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. He was retired from Greyhound Bus Lines and was the owner operator of Huffman's Garage. He was a member of the Vinton Moose Lodge for 30 years where he served as a recent Governor. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon Russell (Russ) and Claudine Paxton Huffman; and a brother, Jerry. Surviving family include his sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Sue, Jimmy, Tracy and Kristi, Kelly and Tammy, and a special friend, Claire; eight grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; his former wife and mother of his children, Janice; special uncle, Ralph Curd; several nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011, at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Roanoke with the Rev. Jeff Gardner and the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
