Mrs. May Clutter Webster,83,died at the home of her daughter, Grace (Lloyd) Scott of Waynesburg after a long illness.

She was the daughter of Spencer B. Clutter and Hannah Nancy Moore Clutter. She had resided in Waynesburg for the past nine months previously living in Rutan.

She married James William "Will" Webster, September 23, 1893 in the Hopewell Methodist Church. He died May 17,1948. She was a member of the Hopewell Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters; Grace (Lloyd) Scott, of Waynesburg; Nelle (Webster) Black of Nineveh; two sons, Hal I Webster, of Tampa, Fl. and S. Stewart Webster of Waynesburg.; one brother Irving J. (Alice) Clutter of Sycamore.
Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery, Center Township, Greene Co., PA.--observer-reporter.
