Mrs. Annie L. Hovermale Ambrose, 60 years 11 months, 1 day, wife of William N. Ambrose, died Sunday morning, October 5, in City Hospital, Matinsburg, where she had been a patient for weeks. She had been in ill health for three years.

She was a daughter of the late H. Benton and Katherine M. Hovermale and a native of Morgan County, living most of her life in the Highland section.

Surviving are her husband, one son, Medford, a daughter, Mrs. Harold Michael, two brothers, ??mber and Ward Hovermale and two sisters, Mrs. F. H. Ruppenthal and Mrs. Clarence Wilson, all of this county. Six grandchildren survive.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Highland Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. C. Moon, the pastor, officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
