Matthew P. Darby 36 died in the West Warwick Night club fire at The Station. He was the husband of Melinda J. (Keenan) Darby. Born in Brooklyn, N. Y., he was the son of Kennith M. Darby Sr. of Howard Beach, N. Y. and Laura (Delisi Gramma of Davie, Florida.

Besides his wife who is 8 mo. pregnant and his parents, he leaves a son, Lee Kemler of Glastonbury, Conn., a daughter Jessica L. Darby age 10 of Coventry, R. I.; to brothers, Theodore Darby of Spring Hill, Florida, and Kennith M. Dardy Jr. of New Hyde Park, N. Y. His paternal grandparents Harold and Marion Darby of Bushill, Pa.; his maternal grandparents, Theodore DeLisi of Deerfield Beach, Florida and Margret Lotegano of Plantation, Fla.; and his stepmother Debra Darby of Howard Beach, N. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday in SS. John & Paul Church, in Cov. R.I. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery Annex #66 Coventry, R.I.;(Known as Knotty Oak Cemetery) on Thur. 2/27/2003_( obit published in the Prov. Journal (2/25/3003) Matt is a HERO to all of
