He was born Monday, 17 August 1931 and grew up in Salina, Kan.
Donald graduated from high school in 1950 and moved to Long Beach, Calif., where he attended Long Beach City College and earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Business.
He worked for the United States Postal Service as a carrier in the Long Beach Area, then was transferred to Menlo Park, Calif.
While working in Menlo Park, he met his future wife, Darlene Eula Boswell and they were married in 1962 and moved to Morro Bay/Los Osos in 1964.
After Donald retired in 1987, he worked for the City of San Luis Obispo.
Mr. Fapp is survived by his sons, David Fapp and Douglas Fapp, brother, Ross Fapp.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Eula (Boswell) Fapp.
