Opal died Wednedsay, May 24, 1995 at Highland Nursing Home.
She was 73.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. Evans T. Moseley, pastor emeritus of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Trout Funeral Home.

Opal was born April 16, 1922 near Hominy, the daughter of Chester William and Cora Mae (Owsley) Owen. She attended Hominy schools.

She and Cecil E. Roth were married August 9, 1937, in Winfield, Kansas. They made their home in Newkirk for a short time before moving to the Ponca City area in the late 1930's. She was a member of the Disabled American Veteran's Auxillary and worked as a nurse's aide in Ponca City nursing homes for fifteen years.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil E. Roth of the home, Route 9, Box 298, Ponca City, three daughters; Gloria (Joy) Sheats of Edmond, Linda Sue Roth of Aurora, Colorado,and Rosalie Reynolds of Bartlesville, two brothers and 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Johnie Erwin Roth, 2 grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
