SOUTH BEND - James "Jim" Phelps, 76, of Belle, MO, formerly of South Bend and other Michiana cities, went to Heaven on June 25, 2011. He is survived by the love of his life of 50 years, Edna Lee of MO, and a brother, Joey Phelps of MO. Also surviving are his children, stepsons, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be in Sassmann's Funeral Home, Belle, MO, on June 27th from 4 p.m., with services at Sassmann's Funeral Home June 28th at 10 a.m. Burial at High Gate Church Cemetery.
