Funeral services were held Sunday for Marion M. Adair from the U.B. church, with Rev. B.E. Chambers officiating. Interment was made in the Morocco cemetery.

Marion Adair, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Adair, was born in Greene County, Ohio, July 4, 1856. When a young man he moved to San Pierre, and then to Newton County. He was married to Miss Clara Cline in Rensselaer, Sept. 12, 1880. The resided on a farm near Brook and later moved into Brook. He was a member of the United Brethren church and K. of P. lodge. After an illness of several months he passed away at his home July 31.

Surviving are the widow and the following children; Warren I. Adair, Indianapolis; William G. Adair, Chicago; Mrs. Maud Smeak, Crawford, Neb.; Mrs. Lily Biddle, Goodland, and Mrs. Verna Davis, Lafayette.
