HARRY C. THOMPSON DIES
Harry C. Thompson, 75, of Byron died Tuesday, July 13, at St. Anthony hospital, Rockford, after a short illness.
He was born in Taylor Township, Ogle County, Illinois, Nov. 2, 1878, the son of Martha Hanger Thompson and Jermone C. Thompson. He married Mae E. Leary, Oct. 20, 1903.
He is survived by a daughter Nina, at home; a sister, Mrs. Affa Beitel of Dixon; and a brother, Emmet C. Thompson of Wilmington, Del. His wife passed away in February 1953.
Services were held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the home in Byron, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery.
