Mr. Wade Hampton (Buddy) Bishop, age 38, died Sunday afternoon, December 20, 1981, in DeFuniak Springs. Mr. Bishop was a native and lifelong resident of DeFuniak Springs. He was a member of the East Baptist Church, a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, a member and officer of the Walton Quarterback Club, board member of the Pee Wee Football League, coach and board member of the DeFuniak Springs Little League. Mr. Bishop was a helicopter flight instructor at Ft. Rucker, Alabama.

Survivors include his wife, his mother, one daughter, one son, and one brother.

Funeral: 2:30pm, Tuesday, December 22, 1981, at the East Baptist Church, with Rev. Randall Stoner officiating.

Burial followed in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Military rites were conducted at the graveside.

Clary-Godwin funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
