Clara B. Worsham, 92, of Hendersonville, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Zebulon & Lela Corn Brevard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Cecil A. Worsham, Sr., U.S. Army (Ret.), who died in 2000; and five brothers, Darius, Dwight, J.C., Tom, & Will Brevard.

Mrs. Worhsam was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church on Duncan Hill Rd.

She is survived by her son, Cecil "Sonny" A. Worsham, Jr., Hendersonville; her sister, Mae Brevard, also of Hendersonville; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Mountain View Baptist Church, with Revs.d Mike McMillian & Reverend Henry Vegter officiating. Burial follwed at Shepherd Memorial Park.
