OSBORNE W. LATIMER

Funeral services were held Oct. 27 at Calvary Baptist church for Osborne W. Latimer, 79, who died Oct. 23. Rev. Truman Cobb and Rev. Jim House officiated. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood, with arrangements by Clagg Funeral Home.

Born August 21, 1901, at Robuck Mountain, Ok., he was raised in Wynnewood. He had lived in Sulphur before moving to Hickory 17 years ago. He married Vesta Naland on Feb. 5, 1940 at Waurika.

Survivors include his wife, Vesta, of the home; seven daughters, Carlma Holder, National City, Calif., Marilyn Edwards, Moore, Sandra Corbett, Norman, Becky Arnold, Oklahoma City, and Ruby Rose, Linda Ashley, and Elaine Brown, all of Pauls Valley; five sons, Dennis Ray, Oklahoma City, John Mike, Olympia, Washington, James Steven, Dallas, Tex., Larry Jack, Pauls Valley, and Kenneth M. Remy, Dallas, Tex.; one brother, Byron Latimer, Bethany; one sister, Marguarita Latimer, Hollywood, Calif.; 44 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. One daughter, Vera Norman, preceded him in death.
