Mr. Swann was born on Oct. 20, 1902, at Fayetteville, Ark. At a young age he moved with his family to Dallas, Texas, where he was reared and educated.
He married Alline McGraw in Ada, Okla., on Sept. 19, 1931. Following their marriage they made their home in Texas and Oklahoma until he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, in which he served during World War II. Following his honorable discharge they made their home in Nampa.
He was employed by Western Block Co. in 1954 as a bookkeeper. He subsequently purchased stock in the company and later became sales manager. He retired from the company in June of 1970.
He was a member of the College Church of the Nazarene and served as its treasurer for 29 years.
He was a member of the Nampa Lions Club for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; one brother, Ralph of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Eileen Clark of Nampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
