James Edward "Jimmy" Graves
65, of Biloxi, Mississippi, formerly of Springfield, Ohio, passed away September 12, 2002 at Gulf Port Community Hospital. He was born August 29, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio, to the union of the late Parks and Edna Oliver Graves, and received his early education in the Springfield City School. He was a well know Veteran, who served in the United State Air Force for 10 years. His parents, and two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Lee Kidd and Mrs. Shirley Payne preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jean Graves; four children, Azaline Kemp of New York, Antoinette and Antwoine Graves, and Franklin Parker of Biloxi, Mississippi; a beloved grandson, Prentis; four brothers, William (Christine) Graves, Mitchell (Sandra) Graves, Joseph (Delores) Graves, all of Springfield, Ohio, and Elder Marvin (Ida) Graces of Xenia, Ohio; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held September 20, 2002 at Nance Temple Church of God in Christ. Interment at the Biloxi Veterans Cemetery. Funeral arrangements and services entrusted to Dickey Brothers and Camber Brothers Funeral Home in Biloxi, Mississippi.
