Steven Andrew Farris (1965 - 2011)
Steven Andrew Farris, 45, a loving husband, wonderful son and brother, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Service: 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Azleland Memorial Park. Interment will follow in the cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Mr. Farris, a lifelong area resident, attended Castleberry schools. He served the homeless, as a minister providing food clothing and spiritual needs. He was a talented musician and played drums with area Christian bands, and was an avid Texas Christian University Horned Frog fan. He loved his family and was called "Uncle Steve" by nieces, nephews and his adopted family and friends.
Survivors: Wife, Dona Steen Farris of Springtown, mother and step-father, Ann and Donnie Colvin of Fort Worth; siblings, Rebecca Compton, Cindy Grunwald, Michael Stevens, Anthony A. "Tony" Farris, Eric Cox and Cindy Farris; maternal grandmother, Ruth Shaw; and several nieces and nephews.
