Marie E. Magos, 100, of Springfield, formerly of Bath, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.
She was born Nov. 17, 1905, in Springfield, the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Nell Nollsch. She married Steve Magos in 1964; he died in 1983.
Mrs. Magos retired as a housekeeper from CIPS and formerly worked at Sangamon Ordnance Plant in Illiopolis. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church for 79 years, where she was a member of Mary Couples Class and Double Nickel Club.
Survivors: daughter, Marie (husband, Jack) Fiaush of Springfield; son, Albert F. (wife, Marjorie) Hood of Springfield; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. George Heineman officiating.
Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
