Eugene J. Sullivan, 75, of 125 Nonotuck St., died Sunday evening at his home. He was the husband of Mrs. Katherine (Sears) Sullivan. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Eugene and Mary Sullivan, and had lived here all his life. He attended local schools, and was employed as a fireman at Westover Air Force Base fire department during World War II. He was later employed by the Valley Paper Co. of Holyoke, and then by Technicarbon Division of the Hano Co. here until his retirement in 1963. Mr. Sullivan was a communicant of Holy Cross Church, a member of the Seibel Association, and the Old Timers Club of Technicarbon. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Bernard and Eugene Sullivan, both of South Hadley: a brother James Sullivan of Florence: a sister, Mrs. Julia DaSilva of Holyoke, and five and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning from Messier-Farrell Funeral Home, Northampton Street, followed by the liturgy of Christian burial in Holy Cross Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
