Mrs. Anna Margaret Cannata, 82, of the Cypress House in Summerville, died Wednesday morning, June 14, 2006, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.


The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, June 17, 2006, in Saint Anthony Catholic Church, 925 South Jefferies Blvd., Walterboro.


Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.


Mrs. Cannata was born October 31, 1923 in Manhattan, New York and was a daughter of the late Louis and Rose Caldararo.


She was a homemaker and was the widow of Mr. Orlando Cannata. She was a member of Saint Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church in Summerville. She was a member of the Red Hat Society at the Cypress House where she was currently serving as the society President.


She will be remembered for the love she had for her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren.


Surviving are: two daughters, Rosanne Flanagan of Walterboro and Patricia Clemente of Summerville; five grandchildren, Christopher Fanning, Kelly Ann Tyler, Dawn Clemente, Tommy Flanagan, and Joey Flanagan; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Tyler and Katherine Fanning.
