She was born December 31, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ray and Elna Therkelsen Tallman. She attended Skyview High School and Utah State University. She was a Cache Valley Dairy Princess and worked as an LPN.
She married Lloyd M. Butcher May 1, 1976 in Taylorsville. [divorced]
She later married Darrel C. Thompson September 23, 1997 in Kaysville, Utah. She loved her grandchildren more than anything.
She is survived by her children: Robert (Liliana) Tallman, Christine (Adam) Slater, Pauline Butcher, Max Butcher, Willie Butcher, grandchildren: Nykole, Brandon, Aubrey, Natalie, Syliss, Devon, Adam Jr., Lucy, brothers: Jesse K. Tallman, Bobby Felt, and sister: Mary (Ernest) Kinnear. Preceded in death by her mother, father and husbands Lloyd and Darrel.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Midvale 10th Ward LDS Chapel, 8825 South Monroe, Midvale, UT with a viewing at the church one hour prior to services. Interment at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. and "N" Street.
