WILDWOOD — Sylvia Jane Walker, 72, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011.
Ms. Walker was born in Elmira, NY. She worked for many years as a toll collector for the Florida Turnpike system; was active in the DAV; the Moose Lodge; and a life member of the American Legion.
Survivors include her sons Jeffrey, Zephyrhills, Kenneth, Manassas, VA; daughters Charice Cornish, Dandridge, TN, Terry McEwen, Wildwood, Michelle Springer, Waverly, NY; brother, Harold Sawdey, The Villages; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 2, in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home in Wildwood, with visitation before services 2-4 p.m. Burial will take place in the family plot in New York.
