Chancellor Rites Set
Services for Edmund Franklin Chancellor of Yeager will be held Thursday at 2 P.M. in the Church of God of Prophecy on West Main, by the Rev. W.C. Upchurch. Chancellor, 86, died at a local hospital December 9. He was born in Arkansas March 2, 1877 and had lived in this community 62 years. He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Millie Choat, Sasakwa; Mrs. Mertie Martin, River Banks, Calif.; and Mrs Opal Gregg, Bakersfield Calif.; five sons: Edgar, Lloyd, and Albert of Bakersfield, Calif.; James of Wyoming; and Thomas of Holdenville; 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Grandsons will be bearers. Burial will be in the Yeager Cemetery under the direction of Hudson Funeral Home.
