Born to the union of Lloyd and Lurlene Montgomery, Lorenzo was the second of three children. His parents and both sisters, Geraldine Coleman and Barbara Ann Brown preceded him in death.
Lorenzo began schooling in El Campo and graduated from St. Peters Clavers Catholic School in San Antonio.
He joined the United States Air Force in 1954 and served as an Air Policeman [A2C] until his medical, honorable, discharge in 1959.
Lorenzo was wed to Edith N. Greenwood, December 16, 1953, and they enjoyed a happy marriage for 48 years. The Lord blessed their union with two daughters, Cynthia and Loretta.
At an early age, Lorenzo accepted Christ. Later, he was a faithful member and deacon at Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his homegoing: his loving and devoted wife; two daughters; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, and very devoted friends.
