Ephriam Eugene Powers is the son of Ephriam Woodruff & Mary Jane (Landon) Powers. He married Mary Jean Thompson, July 1, 1889 in Canada (Mary was born & raised in Canada). They had 5 children: Gerald, Harold, Cecile, Olive, & Marion. They moved to Ferry, MI in the mid-1890's, where Ephriam's mother was still living.
Ephriam & Jane were members of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Ferry, MI. Ephriam's various occupations throughout his life included working at the Sugar Factory in Bay City, W.R. Reach Canning Co. in Hart, as a laborer for the Railroad, and working with his brothers in the Lumber Mill in Ferry.
Ephriam died at his oldest son, Gerald Power's, home in Detroit, MI in 1934.
