He was married to Elizie Akin, April 16, 1905, who preceded him in death July 16, 1918. To this union 3 sons were born, Henry Cantrell, Hodgenville, KY, Elvie & Elliot Cantrell, Magnolia, KY. On March 16, 1919 he was married to Maudie Reynolds. To this union 1 daughter was born, Mrs. Arvie Whitlow, Magnolia, KY. One sister, 2 brothers, 1 grandchild preceded him in death. Besides his wife he is survived by 4 children, 3 grandchildren, 1 brother: Mr. R L Cantrell, Hodgenville. He professed faith in Christ and joined Holly Grove Church and remained a faithful member until death.
