Rulon, Arthur (Art) J, age 74, husband of Althea F. Rulon, died on Fri July 27, 2007. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Army Material Readiness Support Activity (MRSA) at the Bluegrass Army Depot, Avon, KY. Born in Jamestown, North Dakota, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Therese (nee-Bigot) Rulon. He was an Industrial Engineering graduate of North Dakota State University and a member of the Cathedral of Christ the King, where he was a lector. An avid fisherman, he liked nothing better than to go fishing with his two sons, and in time, with his beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Rulon Ewens and one brother, Charles A. Rulon. Survivors include his dear wife Althea; two sons: Bart Rulon of Whidbey Island, Washington and Barron (Julie Wiseman) Rulon of Lexington; a granddaughter, Tabor Elizabeth Rulon and one grandson, Grayson Eric Rulon both of Lexington; a brother Dr. J. Thomas Rulon (Joyce) of Spokane, Washington; a sister-in-law Mrs. Charles A. (Lois) Rulon of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; and a nephew and several nieces. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thu Aug 2, 2007 at 10:30am at Cathedral Christ The King conducted by The Reverend Mark Dreves with burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Bart Rulon, Barron Rulon, Cy Brown, Dick Peters, George Shannon and John Brueckner. Friends may call on Wed Aug 1, 2007 from 5-8pm at the W. R.
