Mrs. Helen Huff, 67, died early Friday morning at Ionia County Memorial hospital after being admitted Wednesday night. She had been ill for some time. Mrs. Huff was born March 3, 1891 east of Lyons, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Alger and attended the rural schools. She was married June 1, 1917 to C. Bryant Huff of Detroit, and spent most of her married life in Detroit until moving to Lyons only a few months ago. She was past matron of Ionia Eastern Star Chapter 422 at Detroit.
Surviving besides her husband are four sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Emma) Cool and Mrs. Herbert (Theressa) Hand of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Benjamin (Anna) Hartman and Mrs. Delbert (Jennie) Ritenburg of Lyons.
Service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett funeral home at Muir. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.
