Moses E. Ace, Fords Pond Road, Clark's Summit, died Monday May 16 , in Mid-Valley Long Term Care Center, Sturges, after an illness.
He and his widow, the former Elivra Meade, would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on Nov. 10.
A son of the late Edward and Mary Ellen Breeze Ace, he was born in the Milwaukee area, and had been a self-employed coal and ice dealer prior to retirement.
Mr. Ace was member of the Clark's Summit United Methodist Church and the Clark's Summit Band. He was a well known dance caller in this area.
Other survivors are two sons, Wayne, Syracuse, N.Y., and Edward, Stowe, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Schroeder, Clark's Summit; a brother, Abe, Clark's Summit; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clark's Summit. The Rev. Donald A. Anderson, Clark's Green United Church, will officiate. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Mill City.
Viewing, tonight, 7 to 9; Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
