Dorothy Jean Cox of Campbellsville died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital. She was 76. Born in Casey County on June 21, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Edith Woodrum Wethington. She was the widow of Leslie Doyle Cox. She was a homemaker and member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Survivors include five sons, Larry Dean (and Cindy) Cox, Terry Lee (and Angie) Cox, Keith (and Libbi) Cox and Rodney (and Kim) Cox, all of Elkhorn, and Joseph Doyle (and Carol) Cox of Campbellsville; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ronnie Wethington of Missouri, James Russell Wethington of Clementsville and Joseph Bernard Wethington of Ohio; and two sisters, June Rodgers of Ohio and Barbara Clements of Liberty.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Gay Wethington; two brothers, Bill and Danny Stewart Wethington; and three sisters, Clementine Foster, Arlene Brown and Judy Newton.
Funeral services were Feb. 28 at St. Bernard Catholic Church by Rev. Joseph Hall. Burial was in St. Bernard Cemetery.
