Marlene E. Brown
Marlene Ellen Brown, 68, of 23 Hampton Road, Buckhannon, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born Sept. 12, 1935, in Upshur County, the daughter of the late Otha Anderson and Anna F. Casto Anderson.
On Jan. 11, 1954, she was married to Archie G. Brown, who survives.
Surviving are one son, Charles G. Brown and wife, Angel, of Buckhannon; one grandson, Jedadiah of Buckhannon; and one aunt, Artha Gay of Harrisville.
She was preceded in death by one son, Randy Brown.
She was a seamstress for Reidbord Brothers for 40 years. She was a member of Sago Baptist Church.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home in Buckhannon, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Wease Day will officiate and interment will follow at the Hampton Church Cemetery at Hampton.
