Graveside Services for Mr. Benke will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 11, 2004 in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Helotes with Rev. David Schulte officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2004 at 5:00-8:00 P.M. in Beckmann Funeral Home.
Memorials for Mr. Benke may be given to Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes, H.C.M.H. Hospice or to the charity of one's choice.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred 'Chick' Benke; son, William Gregory Benke; grandson, Alan Bendele; grandson-in-law, Steve Saegert; and six brothers, Roy, Robert, Gus, John, Daniel, Arthur. He owned and operated Benke Septic Systems.
