Arthur Frederick Webb, 80, of Columbia died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Boone Hospital Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Parker Funeral Service, 22 N. Tenth St. with the Rev. Dennis Swearingin and the Rev. Mickey Havener officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Webb was born Dec. 27, 1922, in St. Louis to Adam A. and Alma Louise Weissenborn Webb. He graduated from Normandy High School in St. Louis in 1941. He attended the University of North Dakota-Bismark for two years. He served in the Army during World War II in New Guinea. He was a member of Normandy United Methodist Church and choir and Union master at Apollo Lodge 529 AF & AM and a past president of the Normandy Kiwanis in St. Louis. He was vice president of the Accredited Hospital and Life Insturance Agency in St. Louis for more than 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Mary Susan Webb of Columbia; a daughter, Fran DeMaster of St. Louis; a son, Art Webb of Virginia Beach, Va; and three granchildren. Memorials are suggested to Olivet Christian Church, 1991 S. Olivet Road, Columbia, Mo., 65201.
