Charles was employed by the Berkshire Knitting Mills as a production line worker for 25 years. Later, he worked in the maintenance dept. of Palmer Candies for many years until his retirement. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was also a member of the East End Club, Daniel Boone Rod and Gun Club and the Running Deer Association of Clinton County.
Survivors include a son, granddaughter, two great-grandsons, a great-great-grandson, brother, and a sister. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
