Ludvig had six siblings:

Ludvig married Irma S.Ristau on April 11, 1942 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church near Foster, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. They had one daughter, Maribeth June Anderson on June 12, 1943. Maribeth married Nathan Raullerson on June 1, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois. They had two children:
1)Rito Nathan Raullerson
2)Gabriel Jabare Raullerson

Nathan died on February 10, 1987. Maribeth remarried on December 28, 2006 in West Palm Beach, Florida to James O'Neal.
