Graveside Services and Interment for Eleanor J. Caffrey will be conducted from the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery at Orleans, Nebraska on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jamie Hottovy officiating. Eleanor Jean Caffrey, 89 years of age, of Webster Groves, Missouri; fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church after her passing on June 26, 2011. Beloved daughter of the late Edward E. and Katherine (Lennemann) Caffrey was born May 20, 1922 at Stamford, Nebraska. She was the loving sister of Joseph R. Caffrey, the late Margaret and E. Robert Caffrey; dear aunt of four nephews, one niece and their children, all residing out of State.
Ellen was a life-long elementary and secondary educator, a Lay Dominican and a Pro-Life Activist.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at a later date at Cure´ of Ars Catholic Church, Shrewsbury, MO.
