Elna M. Bernazzani, 85 of Woburn, died Thursday in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Facility of Malden following a brief illness. Born in Everett, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frank O. and the late Hilda R. (Dahlin) Freeman. She was a Woburn resident for forty years formerly of Medford. She worked for many years as a bookeeper in the insurance industry. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elna's memory to the Hospice of VNA Middlesex East, 12 Beacon St., Stoneham, MA 02180

Mrs. Bernazzani is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Bernazzani and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. In addition to her late parents, Mrs. Bernazzani is preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Irving, Lillian Blackler, Shirley Lynnfield, and three brothers, Robert, Herbert and Frank Freeman.

Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Monday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral service in the United Methodist Church, 523 Main St., Woburn, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with interment at the MA National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1:30PM.
