He was a member and officer of many profession organizations including The Independent Petroleum Association of America, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and a life-long member of the Wyoming Geological Association.
