Michael Joseph Kirwan, Jr., Age 81, of McMurray, died at 6:45 PM Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at Tandem Retirement Village. He was born May 20, 1923 in Youngstown, OH a son of the late Michael Joseph and Alice Kane Kirwan, Sr. Mr. Kirwan graduated from Youngstown State University and attended Case Western Law School.

During World War II he served in the U.S. Army Infantry in the European Theater. He participated in the Battle Of The Bulge. Mr. Kirwan was a former FBI Agent, was Sales Representative of U.S. Steel with 30 years service, he also was co-founder of the Antique Fair at The Meadows and the Old Show Antiques in Meadowlands. He was a member of the Society of former FBI Agents.

On June 28, 1952 he married Mary Jewel Phillips, who died January 17, 2004. Surviving are four daughters, Molly of Freedom, Katie of Brooklyn, NY, Bridget of McMurray, and Maureen of Meadowlands; one son, Michael of Washington; three grandchildren and a nepotism Thymus (Shrine) Koran.

At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation, services and burial will be private. Memorial donations may be sent to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. in charge of arrangements.
