Born on May 12, 1929 in Moriah, she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Jane (Ross) AuClaire.
In 1947, Marie married Rollin D. Greene in Whitehall. He passed away on December 13, 2002.
She worked as a seamstress for a dress shop in Glens Falls. Marie was a communicant of St. Paul's Church in Hudson Falls for many years. She enjoyed bingo, playing slot machines, going to casinos and taking her chances on scratch off tickets. Marie also loved tending to her gardens and feeding the hummingbirds.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandson, Danny Greene; her brothers, Robert AuClaire, Phil AuClaire, Joe AuClaire and Roger AuClaire; and her four sisters, Irene Stokes, Mary Jenkins, Doris AuClaire and Baby AuClaire.
Survivors include her two sons, Ron Greene and his wife Barbara of Cohoes and David Greene and his wife Carol of Pottersville; her five grandchildren, Kelly St. Jean, Geoffrey Greene, Michael Greene, Ashley Greene and Cortina Greene; her great-grandson, Nathan St. Jean; her three brothers, Frank AuClaire and his wife Esther of Pottersville, Merle AuClaire and his wife Catherine of S.C., and Bill AuClaire of Ravena; her two sisters, Lillian Heath of Sharon, Conn. and Dorothy Jurgens and her husband Conrad of Hannacroix, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
