Paul T. "Tommy" Holstein, 72, of Orlando died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Regents Park of Winter Park Nursing Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Nettie (Bell) Holstein of Manila, West Virginia, where he was born September 13, 1938; and two brothers, Delmus and Walter "Rex."

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army with honorable discharge in 1962. Retired to Florida after many years as a tailor and salesman of men's suits in department and men's specialty stores in Huntington, West Virginia, Columbus, Ohio, and Dallas, Texas.

He is survived by his brother Dean (Patricia Ann) of Deltona, Florida; and niece Diane (Michael) Clement of Deltona; sister-in-law Ruby (Delmus) Holstein of Columbus, Ohio; nephews Michael (Lisa), David (Tracy) and Walter Scott (Nancy) of Columbus, and Brent (Heidi) Evans of Gainesville, Virginia; nieces Margaret (Tom) Jolley of Johnstown, Ohio, and Keri (Sam) Palmer of Columbus; many great-nieces and nephews in Florida and Ohio; and special friend Pat York of Beauty, Kentucky, and her children David, Donnie and Theresa.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Mr. Ronald B. Abshire officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison, WV.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
