Don Mann passed away July 4, 2011 at his home in Hagerman, ID at the age of 79.

Don was born July 26, 1932 in Jerome, Idaho, to Mary H. and F.R. Mann. He was raised and attended school in Jerome, graduating from Jerome High School in 1950, before attending the University of Idaho, where he was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity.

Don took a two year break from college to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952-1954. After active duty, Don returned to the University of Idaho where he graduated 1957 with a degree in Business.

Don met his future wife, Glenda Gay Grady, of Palouse, WA, while they were both attending the UofI. Don and Gay were married September 10, 1955 in Palouse, Washington and were married for 45 years before her death in August 2000.

After they both graduated in 1957, Don and Gay settled in Jerome, Idaho where he worked in real estate, insurance and construction industries. While in Jerome, his sons, Greg and Jeff, were born.

In 1968 he moved his family to Idaho Falls where he performed appraisal evaluations for the Idaho State Tax Commission.

In the spring of 1970, the family moved to Challis, Idaho, where Don owned and operated Custer County Title Company while Gay taught at Challis Elementary School.

Gay joined Don full-time as partners at Custer County Title until their retirement in the mid-1980's when Don and Gay embarked on traveling extensively throughout the states and Mexico while having home base in Donnelly, Idaho for the summer seasons and spending most of their winters in their travel trailer and later at their winter home in Yuma, Arizona.

In June, 2000 they became full-time residents of Hagerman, Idaho, where he was residing at the time of his death.

Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and Labrador Retrievers.
