Albert Allen a lifetime resident of Shepherd and vicinity passed away Friday evening at the Broomfield Hospital north of Shepherd, where he had recently been taken for observation and treatment.
He was born in Chippewa Township on October 1, 1877 and was a farmer in the vicinity until moving to Shepherd several years ago.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Garber Funeral Home with Rev W. H. Bell officiating, at 2 p.m. Interment was made in the salt River Cemetery.
Left to morn their loss are his wife Mary, three daughters, Mrs. Donna Bunker of Empire, Mrs. Tretha Gallant of Anaheim, California and Mrs. Kate Wright, of Shepherd, two stepsons Verne Utley of Orlavista, Florida and Ted Utley of Shepherd, two sisters Rose Wonsey of Shepherd and Nelia Burtraw of Lansing.∼Allen, Jesse Albert
