Leon H. Shell
~Leon Harold Shell, 62, Stateline Road, Elizabethton, died Sunday, May 10, 1992 in the Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center, Kingsport, after a brief illness.
~A native of Roan Mountain, he was the son of Mrs. Bonnie Hoss Shell Tate and the late Frank James Shell.
~Mr. Shell was a retired carpenter and a member of the Biltmore Baptist Church.
~Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Mrs. Janice Brown Shell; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Klouda, Cleveland Ohio and Mrs. Linda Davis, Jonesborough; one son, Jerry Wayne Shell Sr. Roan Mountain; one sister, Mrs. Norma Shell, Cleveland Ohio and one brother, Fred J. Shell, Elizabethton. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

SHELL - Funeral services for Leon Harold Shell, 62, State Line Road, Elizabethton, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Greenwell, Rev. Bill Carrier and Mr. Jimmy Brown officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sugar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Butler. Pallbearers will be selected from friends and family. The Biltmore Baptist Church Choir will be in charge of the music. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence at any time. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
