Doris L. Alexander, 94, of Flippin, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. She was born March 5, 1916 in Rondo, Michigan to Jesse Leroy and Mary M. (Pfeil) Barber.

She was a retired fashion designer for Tuff-Nut Garment Company. She moved to the area in 1963, coming from Little Rock.

She is survived by a nephew, Henry S. de Linde of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a sister, Ruth A Barber of Oswego, Illinois; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Alexander in December, 2008. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alexander will be Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 2:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Flippin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark de Linde, Steve de Linde, Travis de Linde, and Jacob de Linde.
